John Soehner built this Mack DM600 flatbed truck with Hi-Ab crane using a Ralph Ratcliffe Models Mack DM600 steel nose universal cab mounted on a Herpa chassis. The third axle was taken from an Athearn chassis with some styrene used to tie the two chassis portions together. A Boley flatbed body was "fixed" with more styrene with a Herpa Hi-Ab crane and extension to the front bumper for lifting chains made of styrene. The chain and hooks are from the spare parts box. Sheepscot Models supplied the photo-etched mirrors.
