These photos are from Jeff Black of his Herpa GMC General Union Pacific heavy equipment hauler. Jeff painted the cab and hood with Polly Scale Reefer Yellow and the frame with Polly Scale UP Dark Gray. All the silver parts on the truck tractor were painted with Vallejo acrylic paint with Tamiya Clear Orange for the tips of the roof marker lights and Tamiya Clear Red for the fender turn signals. The cab guard, toolbox, and fuel tanks are from Dennis Aust, and the frame crossover platform is by SAW Models. The Union Pacific door decals are by Microscale Decals.
The trailer is a Herpa heavy haul equipment trailer already molded in yellow. For the trailer's wooden bed Jeff used thin scribed cardboard that he stained appropriately to replace the original thick plastic strips. Jeff applied Lonestar Models red and white conspicuity striping decals to the trailer. The load is a Caterpillar DM5 Dozer by Norscot. Jeff used Testors dull coat, weathering powder, and paint washes for added realism to the entire model. It is displayed on his desert diorama with an actual desert picture behind it by Backdrop Junction.
