This absolutely spectacular Peterbilt 379 and Utility 53' refrigerated
trailer built by Todd Terpstra were on display at the 2002
Midwest Meet in Chicago. Todd started with a Herpa
cab, scratchbuilding an extended hood to 127" BBC, and replaced
the original fenders with new ones made from Evergreen styrene strips.
Todd used
A-Line
fuel tanks and Plano photo-etched mirrors and frame steps. Additional
details include custom built air cleaners, large diameter exhaust
stacks,
single unit headlights, and fuel tank covers on the front ends. That
beautiful paint job is Testor's Boyd Teal and Ice Blue. Outstanding
job!
